As requested by a friend, for Christmas gifts.
The dog, which was supposed to be patchwork style, was a great way to use up some of our numerous scraps. My sister cut out and sewed together all the patches, then I took it from there, cutting out the dog pieces and assembling them. Never done anything like that before, so it was fun.
These bears are made from a special bedspread, and they’re actually “round two.” We made eight of them a couple years ago, one for each of this lady’s grandchildren. Since then, two more have arrived, which of course necessitated two more bears. (I’m glad it’s a big bedspread, because there are more children on the way.)
